Pursuant to Section 21, Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) the ATON GmbH with its headquarters in Fulda, Germany, has notified us that its proportion of voting rights in W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG exceeded the 30 percent threshold on May 4, 2007 and since that day amounts to 30.35 percent (corresponding to 2,731,767 voting rights). Pursuant to Section 21, Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) Dr. med. Lutz M. Helmig, Germany, has notified us that his proportion of voting rights in W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG exceeded the 30 percent threshold on May 4, 2007 and since that day amounts to 30.35 percent (corresponding to 2,731,767 voting rights). In reference to these, 30.35 percent (corresponding to 2,731,767 voting rights) resulting from ATON GmbH are to be attributed to him pursuant to Section 22, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1 No. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).
