Hamburg. November 26, 2007. Today D+S europe AG´s Supervisory Board appointed Henning Soltau Chief Financial Officer of the group as of January 1, 2008. Since January 2000 the 41-year-old business graduate has been responsible for the department of finance, recently as Senior Executive Vice President Finance. As a member of the Management Board he will also be accountable for the business areas Collection and Payment in the future.
D+S europe AG plans a turnover of EUR 320 millions on group-level next year. That is almost a doubling compared to EUR 164 millions in 2006. The group is expecting further dynamic organic growth within the next years and additionally prepares for further acquisitions. "By appointing Mr Soltau we establish adequate structures on board level for a group of this dimension", explains Klaus Thiemann, Supervisory Board Chairman of D+S europe AG. "As I have been working with Henning Soltau successfully for six years now, I know that our department of finance is in the best of hands", says Dipl.-Ing. Achim Plate, Chairman of the Board of D+S europe AG. "With a broader lineup within the Management Board we are prepared for further expansion of our group and can powerfully push our strategic plans."
