JoWooD closes public capital increase

JoWooD Productions Software AG closed the capital increase after
reaching the set objectives.

The objective of the transaction was the integration of the strategic
partner Fluent Entertainment Inc. The new partner has already
completed a first partial investment into JoWooD. Fluent is entitled
to purchase a total of up to 8m shares until September 30, 2004.

JoWooD also reached the strategic objective of the public capital
increase, the extension of the shareholder base to foreign
institutional investors.

During the subscription period which started on June 18 and ended
yesterday, a total of 2,672,138 shares were subscribed for.

Approximately  200,000  shares were subscribed for by existing share
holders. JoWooD’s management participated in the capital increase
with the subscription for a total of 200.000 shares.

The remaining 2,291,054 shares were placed with foreign institutional
investors.

The proceeds from the capital increase will be used for intensifying
international marketing and investment into product development.

"We have reached our objective of attracting renowned international
institutional investors, with a long term investment perspective
despite very difficult market conditions. High pressure on the stock
made it difficult to place the share offering widely despite strong
market interest in the title. Several investment funds who expressed
interest in the stock are waiting for a cool down of its current
volatility." said the Management Board of JoWooD AG.
