annual result

Gräfeling/München (euro adhoc) - According to preliminary figures, the Hönle
Group doubled its sales revenues from EUR 54.6 million in the previous year to
EUR 67.9 million in the 2010/2011 financial year. At the same time, the
operating result (EBIT) jumped from EUR 5.5 million to EUR 11.3 million, and
consolidated income from EUR 4.8 million to EUR 7.7 million, which translates
into earnings per share of EUR 1.32 (PY: EUR 0.89). Despite two acquisitions in
financial year 2010/2011, the Hönle Group´s liquid assets increased from EUR 6.7
million as at 30 September 2010 to EUR 12.9 million as at 30 September 2011. The
equity capital ratio stands at 68.9 %.

Hönle benefited from the general economic upswing that spread to almost all
sales markets. In all, revenues in the equipment and systems segment rose from
EUR 38.5 million in the previous year to EUR 50.2 million in the 2010/2011
financial year. From January 2011 onwards, revenues in the equipment and systems
segment have included proceeds earned by UV Technik Speziallampen GmbH and,
since July, 2011, the proceeds of Mitronic GmbH. Revenue in the adhesives
segment climbed from EUR 16.1 million to EUR 17.7 million.

The Dr. Hönle AG Management Board and the Supervisory Board plan to have the
shareholders participate in the company´s business success and will propose to
the Annual General Meeting that a dividend of EUR 0.50 per share be paid out.

Outlook:
Incoming orders and Hönle Group´s order portfolio are stable. A detailed
forecast respecting the group´s further development cannot be provided at this
time. On the one hand, the effects of the insolvency petition filed by manroland
AG are still unclear and, on the other, the impact of the current debt crisis on
global economic development is difficult to predict.

manroland AG filed a petition to initiate insolvency proceeding on 25 November.
The insolvency proceedings are to enable speedy restructuring of the company and
provide manroland AG with an opportunity to make a successful new start on the
basis of improved general conditions. Dr. Hönle Group will initiate all measures
required within the short term in order to keep the impact of the printing
machine manufacturer´s insolvency on Hönle Group´s sales and earnings
development as low as possible.

In addition to strictly organic growth, the acquisition of companies will
continue to be important for the further development of the group structure in
the future also.

The Annual Report will be published as planned on 16 January 2012.
