Softing wins new major customer

The Softing Group today announced that it has won a call for tenders in the third quarter of 2007 from the major Norwegian corporation KONGSBERG Group regarding the development of significant parts of new-generation controls for professional marine applications. KONGSBERG has annual sales of just under EUR 1 billion.
In addition to providing comprehensive development services over the next five to eight years, Softing expects to support the capabilities of the new KONGSBERG control systems by supplying hardware and software components. Softing anticipates the services component of the development contract to generate a volume in excess of EUR 1 million in 2008 alone.
Softing will publish its quarterly report for Q3/2007 on November 14, 2007. The company plans to achieve sales of more than EUR 26 million and EBIT of over EUR 2 million in 2007.
