Bad Soden, August 13, 2009: TRIPLAN AG (ISIN: DE 0007499303 / Prime
Standard) releases its mid term results 2009 today. The group boosted
its revenues in the period January 1 to June 30 2009 by 4.3 percent
from 22,782 TEUR up to 23,771 TEUR. The segment Engineering
contributed 22,454 TEUR (30.06.2008: 21,285 TEUR) and the segment
Technology Services 1,531 TEUR (30.06.2008: 1,640 TEUR) to the group
revenues. The overall performance of TRIPLAN group amounted 24,884
TEUR (30.06.2008: 23,876 TEUR) as of June 30 2009.
EBIT declined in the reporting period by 52.9 percent from 1,839 TEUR
down to 866 TEUR. EBIT comparison of June 30 2008 to the previous
year period is affected by two factors. One the one hand, a
settlement of a large-scale project, that had positive effects on
EBIT, was charged in the previous year period. One the other hand, it
is not possible to charge similar high margins in the current
business environment as in the previous year. The EBIT-margin
amounted at balance sheet day 3.5 percent (previous year: 7.7
percent).
The total balance sheet amounted on June 30 2009 24,539 TEUR
(30.06.2008: 23,715 TEUR; 31.03.2009: 26,200 TEUR). TRIPLAN-group has
as at balance sheet day an equity ratio of 64.0 percent (30.06.2008:
56.3 percent; 31.03.2009: 58.6 percent). The cash and cash
equivalents amounted at balance sheet day 5,223 TEUR (30.06.2008:
6,301 TEUR; 31.03.2009: 5,521 TEUR).
The operative development of the group is satisfying in the current
market environment. In the reporting period, the management board
pushed the further market presence of the company by opening new
locations in Neustadt (Donau) and in Renens (Switzerland). Besides
the support of existing customers, the management board uses the new
offices as sales representatives to force the future growth of the
company. Moreover the management board founded TRIPLAN Gebäudetechnik
AG headquartered in Basel (Switzerland). The business activities of
this new company are mainly the planning of house automation
including energy efficiency consideration. With this, TRIPLAN
improves the integrated service as an engineering service provider
and breaks down cut surfaces.
With the positioning in the industries Life Science,
Refinery/Petrochemical, Chemical/Industry and Energy, TRIPLAN is well
positioned in the current challenging market to operate positively
and to extend the market share.
The company acts furthermore on the assumption of the revenues
forecast 2009. By the before mentioned pressure of margin we expect
an EBIT-margin in the amount of 4.5 to 5.0 percent.
