Fraport Subsidiary Provides Security for the Euro Tunnel

Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport
Services Worldwide is now indirectly involved in providing security
services at the Euro Tunnel that links England with  continental
Europe. The Dutch-based security company ICTS Europe B.V. - which is
45-percent owned by Fraport's CIVAS GmbH (Neu-Isenburg, Germany)
subsidiary - will ensure security at the British end of the Euro
Tunnel in the future, under a three-year contract worth about 11.4
million pounds Sterling (almost 20 million euro). Headquartered in
Amsterdam, ICTS Europe B.V. currently employs 5,000 people. ICTS
offers a range of security services such as passenger, baggage and
cargo control at numerous airports. It is active in almost all West
European countries, from Italy to Scandinavia.  Fraport's involvement
in ICTS began in early 2001. By 2004 the latest, Fraport's CIVAS
subsidiary is expected to acquire the remaining 55 percent of ICTS'
shares. CIVAS and ICTS are leaders in the European aviation security
market.
