industry sector leader in the global Dow Jones Sustainability Index
(DJSI) listings for the sixth year in a row.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI), launched in 1999, are
the first global indexes tracking the financial performance of the

for the Nondurable Household Products market sector since 2000.
The Dow Jones Leader Report says the following about P&G: "P&G is
the sustainability leader in the nondurable household products

on serving basic needs of consumers in developing countries.
Innovative products providing safe drinking water or improved
nutrition for children are examples". The report also recognizes
P&G's commitment to continually improve the environmental quality of
its products taking into account their entire life cycle.
"We are delighted that SAM Dow Jones has again decided to
recognize P&G's sustainability work. It is a positive sign for P&Gers
working around the globe" said Peter White, P&G's Associate Director
