Beat Grossenbacher moving to SRG

Beat Grossenbacher, CFO and member of the Group Executive Board of BKW Inc., has decided to move to SRG SSR. As Head of Finance and Controlling, Beat Grossenbacher will also be a member of the SRG Executive Board. As agreed with SRG, he will move to his new position with SRG by 1 July 2014.

Beat Grossenbacher (53) joined the Executive Board of BKW on 1 January 2009, and from then on headed the company's Finance and Services division in his capacity as CFO. Besides the Finance and Controlling unit, he was also responsible for other units such as Human Resources, Information & Communication Technology, Real Estate and other BKW Group services. In his function Beat Grossenbacher played an important role in preparing and implementing the latest restructuring and reorganisational programme at BKW, and in rolling out the cost-reduction and efficiency enhancement programmes. Says Beat Grossenbacher, "The decision to leave BKW was not an easy one. But after five years in the electricity industry I wanted to take advantage of this new career opportunity." BKW is sorry to lose Beat Grossenbacher. BKW CEO Suzanne Thoma commented: "I would like to thank Beat Grossenbacher for his excellent work in the service of BKW. I am sorry to see him go and wish him all the very best in his new function."
