Change in Schaffner Group Management

After five years as a member of the Schaffner Group Management, CFO Martin Zwyssig has decided to leave the company during the course of 2008 to take on a new challenge. Until the appointment of a successor, Martin Zwyssig will continue to play an active role in management of the Schaffner Group as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In addition, Robert Scherer, Chairman of the Audit Committee, will step down from the Board of Directors of Schaffner Holding AG at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on January 16, 2008 due to retirement. The election of a successor will be included in the agenda in the invitation to the General Meeting.
The Board of Directors and the Group Management of Schaffner Holding AG would like to take this opportunity to thank Martin Zwyssig for his outstanding commitment to the company, in particular in connection with the Schaffner Group's successful realignment to focus on the components business, as well as Robert Scherer who, as a member of the Board of Directors since 1998, was closely involved in the financial management of the Schaffner Group.
