WISeKey and Swiss Style Magazine launch the WISeSwissStyle App for Secure and Interactive Events

WISeKey, a leading eSecurity company, and Switzerland's leading English-language magazine, Swiss Style, have joined forces to introduce WISeSwissStyle: a revolutionary iPad app for high-scale events that wish to offer WISeID personal data protection and to broadcast content and make event-related applications available for participants.
This app is released in conjunction with the Swiss Style World Economic Forum Davos 2011 Special Issue. This magazine is available electronically via WISeSwissStyle, downloadable for everyone for free via iTunes.
Conceived by WISeKey, a WEF Global Growth Company, WISeSwissStyle app not only allows anyone to access the magazine issue's content: it also integrates WISeID functionalities with a convenient, easy to use, encrypted place to store all usernames, passwords, PINs, credit cards, loyalty cards, notes and other information, all protected with the AES encryption algorithm and strong 256-bit key. Users can also log on to favorite web sites in the secure web browser directly from the iPad app.
WISeSwissStyle will also include exclusive features such as a unique identification interface as well as a cryptographic signature program that will allow participants at the WEF to send signed, authenticated emails.
The WISeID embed on the WISeSwissStyle APP protects users from ID theft (the fastest growing crime according to the Federal Trade Commission), by protecting their Personally Identifiable Information (PII), which can be used to identify, contact, locate or even trace a person. The personal data collected by WISeID always stays under the user's control on their iPad. The PII is never communicated to third parties and never leaves the user's control.
