All company segments contributed to the increase in revenues. The
positive development is mainly due to the expansion of distribution
capacities last year, which led to a considerably stronger market
presence in all relevant target markets. Moreover, new market
segments in the printing industry were opened up as a result of these
measures.
Outlook: The Hönle Group intends to further expand its strong market
position that it has achieved and will further strengthen its sales
team in the new financial year. R&D capacities will also be further
extended to increase competitiveness. Strategically important growth
segments such as digital printing will see targeted promotion through
increased research and development activities. Hönle´s activities
will also be focused on direct access to the sheet-fed offset
printing market and expansion of activities in the rotary offset
printing market. In all, the Company expects favourable general
conditions and opportunities for positive development. In combination
with the recently reported Panacol Group acquisition, the Hönle Group
expects significant revenue and earnings growth in the coming years
as well.
The Annual Report will be published on 18 January 2008 as scheduled.
