Revenues And Earnings Increased Once Again In Financial Year 2003/2004

Hönle, the UV specialist (ISIN: DE000 515710 1), announces the
preliminary figures for financial year 2003/2004 according to which
revenues rose by 26.5 % from TEUR 17,723 to TEUR 22,418.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose by 43.6 % during the
same period from TEUR 2,005 (previous year) to T EUR 2,879, and net
income for the year grew by 21.0 % from TEUR 1,850 (previous year) to
TEUR 2,239 or EUR 0.43 per share. This represents an EBIT margin of
12.8 % and net profit on sales of 10.0 %.

The Board and Supervisory Board of Dr. Hönle AG intend to propose
payment of a dividend of EUR 0.20 per share at the General Meeting.

Liquid funds generated from operating activities rose by 182 % from
TEUR 1,112 TEUR in the previous year to TEUR 3,139. The total amount
of liquid assets, financial investments and treasury stock has grown
from EUR 16,218 to TEUR 17,137 in comparison to the previous year.
This represents a 'cash portion' of EUR 3.27 per share. The capital
ratio amounts to 83.5%.

Outlook:
Due to the orders on hand and orders received at the time of
reporting, we expect two-digit growth in revenues and earnings in the
first quarter of 2004/2005 in comparison to the previous year’s
quarter.
