VIVACON AG sells two residential portfolios consisting of 5,046 units in total
Cologne, 29th September 2006. VIVACON AG (ISIN 000604 8911) has today sold two substantial residential property portfolios in individual transactions to two international Institutional Investors. Total units sold amount to 5,046 with a total area of approximately 272,000 sqm. Of the total, 2,256 units are located in Western Germany predominantly in North Rhine-Westphalia and 2,790 units are located in Saxony-Anhalt.
Transaction volume amounts to approximately EUR 210m. VIVACON AG will generate initial annual ground rents of some EUR 1.36m from this transaction. The ground lease contracts have a lifetime of 198 years. The transactions take the form of the sale of shares in special purpose vehicles. The disposal is partly subject to antitrust approval.
