BiblioMondo(TM) - the World's eLibrary Network(TM)
(http://www.BiblioMondo.com) announced today that it has been awarded
a $2.1 million dollar digital media contract for the networking of 20
library nodes of The Hague Public Library, Netherlands using
BiblioMondo's Web-centric CONCERTO(TM) software.
The Hague eLibrary network is one of the largest in the
Netherlands. With over 200,000 users and 20 network nodes, this
network of libraries will include 13 nodes for telematics centres
integrating library and education services and including digital
media and Internet access. In 2001, The Hague's total collection of
works, which includes an important selection of digital media (audio,
video, digital works), shall exceed 10.5 million objects.
