Tenneco Automotive Europe earns distinctive Toyota Recognition Award

Tenneco Automotive Europe, one of the undisputed
leaders in the European automotive aftermarket (emission control and
ride control products), continues to garner recognition from major
customers for its outstanding supply performance and customer
service. Tenneco Automotive received the Recognition Award by Toyota
Motor Europe Marketing & Engineering (TMME) for its excellent supply
performance.
"This award is testimony of the dedication and commitment of all
Middelfart employees to exceed our customer's  expectations," says
Aksel Pedersen, the Plant Manager at the Middelfart Walker plant.
"Service and customer orientation are integral parts of our
business strategy and Tenneco Automotive does its utmost to excel in
designing and delivering products that respond to our customers'
needs," said J.P Dolait, Tenneco Automotive Europe's Vice-President
Sales and Marketing Aftermarket.
Tenneco Automotive's Walker plant in Middelfart (Denmark)
manufactures mufflers sold through the Toyota dealer channel within
the TMME Optifit replacement parts program. Tenneco Automotive
started supplying these Optifit parts to TMME some six years ago and
was one of the first companies in Europe to supply TMME with locally
manufactured replacement parts.
Tenneco Automotive is a $3.5 billion manufacturing company
headquartered in Lake Forest, Ill., with 23,000 employees  worldwide.
Tenneco Automotive is one of the world's largest producers and
marketers of ride control and exhaust systems and products, which are
sold under the Monroe (r) and Walker(r) global brand names and other
brand names like Gillet, Fonos, Armstrong.
