Press Release of Implenia AG

The Board of Directors of Implenia AG
has noted the announcement by Laxey Partners Ltd. of its intention to
make an offer for the whole of the issued share capital of Implenia
at a price of CHF 33.23 per share.

The Board of Directors is considering its position and will be
making an announcement and writing to all shareholders with its
response and advice to shareholders in the immediate future.

We have no further comment at this stage. A further announcement
will be made this afternoon after closing of the market.
