DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Titanium Dioxide Grades in EMEA Region
Wilmington, Delaware (ots/PRNewswire)
DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a price increase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for all DuPont(TM) titanium dioxide grades.
Effective April 1, 2005, or as permitted by contract, prices for all titanium dioxide grades in Europe will increase 110 Euros per tonne and 150 US Dollars per tonne in the Middle East and Africa.
These price increases are necessary due to the need to improve reinvestment economics required for capital funding to support DuPont's growth. These increases are also supported by macro-economic strength driving very strong global TiO2 demand. At current capacity utilization rates, this action will assure the recovery of our TiO2 business which ultimately benefits our customers.
Other regional increases will be announced directly within the local regions.
