In a  regular scheduled meeting of Demag Cranes Supervisory Board
held in Dusseldorf today, Mr Reinhard Gorenflos has been appointed
Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Reinhard Gorenflos succeeds Dr.
Horst Heidsieck who stepped down as chairman today, prior to the
board meeting. Dr. Heidsieck intends to also retire as a member of
the Supervisory Board of Demag Cranes AG at the end of 2006 as
planned as the activities of Demag Holding S.á r.l., Luxembourg, will
be largely dissolved.
