Innovators from all industries will gather in Montreal from May 22 to 25, 2012 for three days of non-traditional experiences including talks by top-tier business thinkers, artistic performances, immersive installations, a creativity Boot Camp, collaborative events, exhibitions and more - all set in a unique Innovation Village designed exclusively for C2-MTL. C2-MTL (Commerce + Creativity Montreal) is rethinking the conventional annual international business conference to mount an exploration of the commerce / creativity interface and its potential to redefine the way people do business. High-profile speakers

Sixteen world-renowned speakers will be featured, including noted director Francis Ford Coppola, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner, Editor in Chief of AOL Huffington Post Media Group Arianna Huffington, Google CFO Patrick Pichette and architect Winy Maas (see complete list of speakers below).

In addition to the talks, attendees will have plenty to keep them busy: industry leader IBM has chosen C2-MTL as the venue for the release of the 2012 edition of its Global CEO Study, a major worldwide survey of hundreds of CEOs; the cutting-edge business magazine Fast Company will be holding its eagerly awaited "100 Most Creative People in Business" event at C2-MTL; Cirque du Soleil will offer unforgettable artistic moments; Sid Lee Collective's Creativity Boot Camp will showcase some of the world's finest creative minds; more than 40 worldwide representatives of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network will be in attendance, led by City of Montreal officials; the ÉTS (École de technology supérieure) will hold its "24 hours of innovation" international competition at the site, and more.

A unique village built forthe occasion

C2-MTL will welcome its 1,200+ participants to an exclusive Innovation Village designed specifically for the event. Its centerpiece is the historic New City Gas complex, built in the 19th century to light the streets and factories of Montreal. The C2-MTL site will also feature a smorgasbord of exhibitions, multimedia presentations and conceptual spaces, including some designed by Moment Factory.
