Koblenz (euro adhoc) - November 02, 2011: The health network of the Stockholm
region has confirmed: Using Software of the CompuGroup Medical AG will save them
yearly around 5.5 million euros from 2011 on. What's more, the eHealth market
leader's laboratory systems developed in Sweden are very successful and
meanwhile in use worldwide. Currently, there are also first orders from
Slovakia and China. This proves once more how technologies of CompuGroup Medical
enhance quality and efficiency of medical facilities.
The information system TakeCare provides sector-overlapping administration of
patient data. In a project together with the Swedish customer (SLSO Stockholms
Läns Sjukvårds område) medical data of various service providers and patients in
Stockholm are being bundled in one central file. The system counts among the
largest eHealth-installations worldwide: 37,000 medical service providers access
our software under highest security measures; 2,700,000 electronic patient data
are being administered herein.
TakeCare replaces 12 Software solutions and structures the data in one system.
First project results have shown that the system change to CompuGroup Medical
saves around 5.5 million euros per year. Further regions in Sweden have realized
the potential of the simplified system landscape: Currently, TakeCare is being
set up in the region of Dalarna. The region of Västra Götaland has recently also
engaged CompuGroup Medical to interlink 6,000 resident physicians. CGM Analytix,
a uniform system for multidisciplinary laboratories in use worldwide
The laboratory information system of CompuGroup Medical, CGM Analytix, reaches
the same level of success: Meanwhile it has been introduced in eleven countries
worldwide. The software manages most various specialized fields and was
CE-certified in 2010. The modular structure satisfies requirements of all
laboratories irrespective of their scale. At present, experts are working on
orders from Slovakia and China - the solution is going to be installed there
next.
