Oberkirch (euro adhoc) - Oberkirch, March 15, 2013 - Today, Progress Werk
Oberkirch AG held a celebration to mark the official commencement of operation
of a new Schuler 1,250 ton servo-press at the Oberkirch site. PWO had already
expanded its capacity in fiscal year 2012 at its locations in the Czech Republic
and China with two of the same types of forming presses.

This new press belongs to one of the largest pieces of machinery within the PWO
Group and allows for the highly-complex forming of materials such as
high-strength steel, among others. The new press can achieve a much higher
output than possible with conventional presses as a result of the modern
servo-drive technology. This leads to a noticeable improvement in productivity.
The resulting capacity expansion will be quickly consumed by the high level of
new business experienced in the past years. Seat components, engine brackets,
and engine housings among others will be produced on this new piece of
equipment. The investment volume amounted to nearly EUR 5 million.

By placing this new press into operation, PWO has concluded an important
milestone in terms of its current investment program. As a result, PWO will be
able to react even more efficiently and flexibly to customer demands in the
future.
