Frankfurt am Main, November 28, 2008: Mood and Motion AG, previously Neue Sentimental Film AG (ISIN: DE0005341408), a leading international company for the production of advertising films and TV formats will publish its 9-month report today.
Revenues in the third quarter totaled EUR 14.57 million compared to EUR 9.56 million in the third quarter of 2007. EBIT totaled EUR 0.12 million (previous year: EUR 0.16 million), and net earnings totaled EUR -0.14 million (previous year: EUR 0.07 million). Both EBIT and net earnings were depressed by the integration, reorganization and consulting expenses from the TeleMAZ Group, which was consolidated for the first time as of April 1, 2008, and also by the lower capacity uptake at individual branches as a result of advertising budgets being postponed and cancelled since the start of the economic downturn. In addition, net earnings also fell as a result of expenses from discontinued operations.
Revenues for the first nine months of 2008 increased to EUR 37.7 million, and were thus up substantially on EUR 27.1 million in first nine months of 2007. EBIT in the first nine months of 2008 totaled EUR 0.19 million (previous year: EUR 0.12 million), and earnings for the first nine months of the year totaled EUR -0.29 million (previous year: EUR -0.20 million).
