new product
Blaubeuren, March 3, 2009 - With its new
"Module Technology" business area, GP Solar GmbH, a 100 percent
subsidiary of centrotherm photovoltaics AG, is supplementing
centrotherm photovoltaics Group's range of products to include
crystalline module production. The company is initially launching
three module lines on the market. They are differentiated in terms of
output and scope, and offered either as individual engineering
packages or as turnkey lines. Depending on individual customer
requirements, the range not only includes technology and process
know-how, but also business plan development, module design
consulting, staff training and certification. As is also the case
with centrotherm photovoltaics' turnkey products in the solar cell
and thin-film areas, certain performance parameters are guaranteed
for crystalline module production, including breakage rates,
availability and hourly module output.
"Based on centrotherm photovoltaics Group's many years of process
know-how, and the innovative development work conducted by GP Solar,
we have developed an equipment-independent offer that ensures our
customers low total cost of ownership," commented Dr. Peter Fath,
Chief Technical Officer of centrotherm photovoltaics. "With the new
crystalline module lines, our product range is growing along the
solar value-creation chain, and we can offer a further element along
the way towards the fully integrated solar factory from our in-house
resources."
The centrotherm photovoltaics subsidiary GP Solar will present the
new module lines in detail at the Photovoltaics Technology Show held
between March 4 and March 6, 2009 in Munich, in Hall C1/Stand J11.
