He succeeds Christian Schmidt, who resigned from the Motors Group as of June 30, 2012. Andreas Schindler, member of the Management Team of the ATB since 2007, played a key role in the restructuring process of the Austrian Motors Group. Today, the ATB presents itself as an international motors group with an extensive product portfolio with customised solutions for customers, industry segments or specific appliances. "The ATB is very well positioned for a positive sustainable development. My mission is to leverage the numerous existing opportunities and potentials within our Group but also in and beyond our core markets and to benefit from the global trend towards energy efficient drives for further growth," Schindler outlines the next steps of the Motors Group, which will become even more international in the future. After his studies at the Wirtschaftsuniversität of Vienna Ing. Mag. Andreas Schindler, 41, among others worked for Procter & Gamble, Frantschach and Mondi and since 2007 is member of the Management Team of the ATB Group. As Managing Director he was responsible for companies of the Motors Group in Austria, Germany and Serbia.
