Basingstoke, England (ots/PRNewswire) - Clinical Solutions, a
leading British provider of software solutions to the healthcare
market, has been selected to provide call centre management and
clinical decision support software for the Portuguese Public Health
The software will be used by staff manning Portugal's first
national health helpline to record patient calls and provide
information to aid advice for patients. It will also allow the
Portuguese Public Health System to better manage its limited
resources and allocate the correct level of care based on the
assessment of each case.
The health helpline will provide a service similar to that of NHS
Direct in the UK, who has been a customer of Clinical Solutions for
the last six years.
Private company, Linha de Ciudados de Saúde (LCS), has been formed
to implement the programme and it is the first private/public sector
healthcare partnership of its kind in Portugal.
