The Board of Directors and the Management of Finter Bank Zürich announce the election of Dr. Marco Lanzi as new Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Shareholder's Meeting of March 23, 2006. At the same time he accepts Chairmanship of Finter Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd. He takes over from Martin Murbach who retires.
Dr. Marco Lanzi, born 1952, has held wide-ranging responsibilities at UBS and he was CEO of the Swiss private banks Cantrade and Ehinger Armand von Ernst. Today he is a member of an international law firm in Zurich. His broad experience in banking and law is a welcome strengthening in a time of rapid structural and regulatory changes.
Finter Bank Zürich (founded 1958) with branches in Zurich, Chiasso, Lugano and in the Bahamas is active in Private Banking.
