Cuxhaven, April 29, 2005 - Plambeck Neue Energien AG will prospectively only be able to publish the group and annual accounts as well as its business report for the fiscal year of 2004 in the last week of May 2005.
The reason for the further postponement of the publication, originally planned for April 4, 2005, and then planned for the end of April 2005, is the fact that the negotiations for a new project loan facility, maintaining the existing loan facilities, have not yet been finally completed. The long-term continuation of the company can be assumed if these negotiations are completed successfully. However, it is only under the prerequisite of this assumption that the company can present group and annual accounts provided with an unlimited auditors' opinion and also publish such accounts in the business report.
Now that agreement on the contents with the lending banks, reached to a great extent in the past few days, has also been announced by the latter today, the Board of Directors is confident that it will soon be able to complete the loan negotiations successfully. At the same time, the Board of Directors also estimates that the company can implement all the measures which will be necessary in order to implement the envisaged result of the negotiations by the middle of May 2005. In this way, the prerequisites for the publication of the group and annual accounts as well as the business report for the fiscal year of 2004 would be fulfilled.
At the same time, the Board of Directors of Plambeck Neue Energien AG confirms the provisional group figures for the fiscal year of 2004 already published on February 8, 2005.
