The Einhell group continues its positive development at the first nine months of the financial year 2007. The total turnover decreased compared to last year. But the decrease in salesis in consequence of the disposal of weka Holzbau GmbH as at 29 December 2006. The group turnover decreased from Euro 319.5 million last year to Euro 296.4 million as at 30 September 2007. Adjusted by the effect of the weka products, the turnover could be increased from Euro 281.2 million to Euro 296.4 million. This comes up to an increase of 5.4%. The group result before tax decreased by 0.5% to Euro 19.3 million (Euro 19.4 million last year). The result of the last year without the effect of weka amounted to Euro 18.1 million. Therefore the adjusted result increased by 6.6%. The net profit increased to Euro 14.1 million in the first nine months compared to the result of Euro 13.5 million last year. The compared result of the last year without weka amounted to Euro 12.7 million.
The DVFA result amounts to Euro 13.2 million (Euro 12.4 million last year, adjusted Euro 11.6 million). This means Euro 3.5 per share (Euro 3.3 last year, adjusted Euro 3.1). The Einhell group is planning to establish new subsidiaries in Greece and Chile in 2007. Therewith the strategically important international orientation will be continuing consistent.
Because of the good development of business in 2007 the board of directors assumes that a good result according to the planning will be reached at the year end.
