Einhell Group buys Intratek in Turkey
The Einhell group buys 85% shares of the company INTRATEK MÜHENDiSLiK VE DIS TiCARET ANONiM SiRKETi (Intratek), Atatürk Mah. Girn Cd. No. 45, 34750 K.Bakkalköy-Kadiköy Istanbul; Turkey, with the consent of the supervisory board.
Intratek operates as an established and successful wholesale company in the area
hand tools and power tools. The company supplies the international do-it-your-self store chains as well as the local retailers. Einhell feels confident to cover successfully the important strategic market of Turkey within the scope of this new partnership.
The transaction should be closed with effect from 14th June 2007 subject to the payment of the fixed purchase price. The Einhell group will cover the purchase price from the ordinary cash flow. The total purchase price strongly depends on the results of the next several years. In the medium term, a sales target of EUR20million will be considered as realistic.
According to this decision the Einhell group can cover a further strategic important strong growing market.
