Karlsruhe, April 17, 2008 - ComBOTS AG (ISIN: DE000CMBT111) published today its results for the first quarter of fiscal 2008. The restructuring and realignment of the company initiated at the beginning of Q4/2007 continues to develop as scheduled and announced. During Q1/2008 the focus was not only on reaching further milestones in the restructuring but also on the concretization of the future business activities.
The relief on the cost burden following the restructuring measures was already clearly perceivable in Q1/2008. The earnings before tax amounted during the last quarter, including restructuring costs of EUR 0.7 million, to a total of EUR -1.6 million (Q1/2007: EUR -7.2 million, Q4/2007: EUR -7.5 million) and corresponded to expectations. The company anticipates that in the further course of fiscal 2008 the restructuring will deploy its full impact as scheduled and continues to expect a balanced net result for the full year.
