package sold to SKion by ordinary shareholders

The Management Board of Nordex AG has learned today that the CMP Group and Goldman Sachs together with their co-investors have sold a package of a total of 20 percent (13,369,000 shares) of the company´s share capital to a subsidiary of SKion GmbH. SKion is the holding company of entrepreneur Susanne Klatten. Her husband, Jan Klatten, has already held a stake in Nordex AG since 2005 and, with a share of roughly two percent in the company, is a member of its Supervisory Board. The transaction is still subject to anti-trust clearance.
Nordex AG´s CEO, Thomas Richterich, and the chairman of the Supervisory Board, Yves Schmitt, welcome the addition of SKion to the company´s shareholder base: "We are pleased to have gained in the Klatten family value-oriented investors who with their industrial experience will be able to accompany Nordex compe-tently on its continuing growth course".
Commenting on the sale of the shares in Nordex AG to SKion, the management of CMP stated: "We have sold part of our investment to SKion as it is an industrial investor which can contribute valuable experience and strategic impetus in the interests of Nordex´s future development."
