Haarlem / Netherlands, July 17, 2007 - LYCOS Europe N.V. (LYCOS), one of the leading European portal providers and online advertisers, executed a new License Agreement with Lycos, Inc. for a consideration of about USD 5.2 mln. This perpetual and royalty-free license includes the right to utilize the LYCOS as well as the HOTBOT, TRIPOD and ANGELFIRE trademarks in all European countries and Armenia. While executing the new License Agreement, LYCOS and Lycos, Inc. have also settled all outstanding issues.
