next commerce takes over business of Visions new media GmbH

The SinnerSchrader subsidiary next
commerce is taking over the majority of the business operations of 
the insolvent Visions new media GmbH in Hanover with immediate 
effect. Visions has 25 employees and is one of Europe´s leading 
providers of shop systems based on Magento. The open-source Magento 
system is the fastest-growing e-commerce solution in the world. 
Visions supplies a D2C (direct-to-customer) version of Magento which 
is tailored specially to the needs of the European market and 
international brands and manufacturers.
Moritz Koch, Managing Director of next commerce, said, "With the 
Magento D2C platform, we can help brands and merchants enter the 
e-commerce segment even more quickly. With this shared platform, they
can automatically benefit from the innovations and optimisation 
measures in the quickly evolving e-commerce market."
