Karlsruhe, March 18, 2009. init innovation in traffic systems AG 
(ISIN DE 0005759807) plans to pay shareholders a higher dividend this
year. The Managing Board decided today to present the Supervisory 
Board with a proposal for appropriation of earnings to be put to the 
shareholders´ meeting which suggests a dividend of EUR 0.16 per 
entitled share (2007: EUR 0.14). This decision, however, is subject 
to the approval of the annual financial statements for the 2008 
fiscal year and the consent of the Supervisory Board.
The Managing Board explained the increase in dividend with the 
excellent business trend in fiscal 2008 and the positive outlook of 
the company for 2009. In view of the high volume of secured orders, 
the significant inflow of capital expected from ongoing projects, and
intact growth potential, init innovation in traffic systems AG also 
hopes that this decision will once again signal its commitment to an 
investor-oriented dividend policy.
The final dividend proposal to the shareholders´ meeting scheduled 
for May 20, 2009 will be announced in the invitation to the 
shareholders´ meeting.
