Eurofighter welcomes German Parliamentary Decision on Tranche 2 Agreements

Eurofighter GmbH welcomes today's decision from the German Parliament's Budget Committee on the Tranche 2 agreements. Commenting on this decisive announcement, Aloysius Rauen, Chief Executive Officer Eurofighter GmbH, stated "With this important decision, Germany, as one of the four partner nations in this major European procurement initiative, paves the way for the seamless continuation of the Eurofighter programme, and is also very good news for our supplier community of over 400 companies throughout Europe."
Tranche 2 covers 236 aircraft for the four partner air forces with 89 aircraft dedicated to the Royal Air Force, 68 for the German Air Force, 46 for the Italian Air Force, and 33 to be delivered to the Spanish Air Force.
