Resolution Performance Products LLC Announces Versatics Price Increases Globally

Houston (ots/PRNewswire)

Resolution Performance Products LLC
(RPP) announced today that it will increase the prices of 2 key
product groups in its Versatic Acids and Derivatives business line:
VeoVa(TM) Vinylester and Cardura(TM) E10P Glycidylester, in all
regions by 100 Euro/metric ton or 130 USD/metric ton (equaling 6
cents per pound), respectively, effective April 1, 2005. "This price
increase is necessary to recover further feedstock increases and is
supported by the continued strong demand for our products. It allows
the Versatics Business to improve the quality of the business so that
it can invest in further growth," says Ed Hoozemans, Vice-President
for RPP's Versatics Business.
"Demand continues strong and allows our plants to run at full
capacity," added Ed Hoozemans. "We have made great progress in
expanding our Acids-capacity with low capital requirement and are
preparing to debottleneck our Vinylester capacity. This price
increase will help insure adequate capacity to meet the continually
growing needs of the marketplace, by supporting current and future
capacity expansions."
