WISeKey concludes a very successful participation in the World Summit on Information Society's (WSIS)

WISeKey launched a global partnership to expand the use of Digital Identification as part of the WSIS "Pledge to Connect the World" with the aim of increasing digital connectivity to 1 billion people by 2015
This new initiative from WISeKey and the OISTE Foundation has been designed to allow the global deployment of a digital identity infrastructure and to expand it further by increasing access to the benefits derived from a secure and reliable system of digital identity embracing a global trusted community for business, trade, health, education, tourism, government etc have been widely shown to be quite significant. There is a strong support from both private and public sector to expand the use of digital identification to emerging economies via the network of Certification Authorities interconnected among them by an acceptable Trust Model based on the work done by WISekey with International Organizations such as ITU, OISTE, IOM, the UN, etc.
