Leading Portuguese Operator Launches VoIP Services Using MetaSolv Service Activation

TELEMANAGEMENT WORLD - MetaSolv Software, Inc., a global leader in comprehensive service fulfillment solutions for next-generation communications service providers, today announced that Oni, a leading operator in Portugal, has deployed MetaSolv's activation platform to activate VoIP services for its customers. MetaSolv Service Activation effectively handles the provisioning complexity across the various network elements to enable Oni to deliver services quickly and efficiently, regardless of the underlying technology.
The implementation of MetaSolv Service Activation for these advanced services has allowed Oni to bundle and offer new services more rapidly, including OniDuo, an unbundled local loop or wholesale offering providing integrated VoIP, Broadband and E-services such as e-mail and web hosting, and Digital Power Line, which provides services over an electrical power line.
