Eduard Bugelnig, Patrick Schnebel and Robert Latka take over management of the Austrian subsidiary of S&T
Shortly after his transition from the Supervisory Board to the head of S&T, CEO and company founder Thomas Streimelweger appointed the new country managers for the Austrian subsidiary. From 26 July, Eduard Bugelnig, Patrick Schnebel and Robert Latka, three top industry players, will take the helm of S&T Austria GmbH. S&T Austria has around 300 employees and serves renowned companies such as OMV, SPAR, Andritz, Novomatic, Porsche Österreich, Mondi, voestalpine and Energie AG as an integrated full-service IT provider with a focus on "Consulting. Integration. Outsourcing." In 2009, S&T Austria generated sales of around EUR 84 million, or approximately one-fifth of the Group´s total revenue.
"In order to achieve the desired operative turnaround of the S&T Group as quickly as possible, we need to return to our former entrepreneurial drive," commented Streimelweger. "The new Austrian team consists of excellent people with significant experience, representing the new dynamic. It is their task to make S&T Austria flexible, versatile and above all, customer-focused again. I am convinced that the new leading team will be able to effectively implement these goals. Our aim is the sustainable development of our business relationships with our current key accounts through `upselling´ - an intensification of our services in the high-value consulting division, long-term customer retention and growth in outsourcing and outtasking, respectively, as well as a strengthening of our service offer by utilizing our local presence in Eastern Europe and Asia. This should lead to a solid expansion of our order book."
The new Managing Director, Eduard Bugelnig (46), comes to S&T from Capgemini. Following his nine-year career with the company in various managerial positions, he was most recently CEO of the Outsourcing Services division in Central and Eastern Europe. As a member of the management team he will primarily be responsible for Outsourcing, Managed Services and Infrastructure, and will act as head of sales.
Patrick Schnebel (41) has been on board at S&T Austria since April 2010 as head of Business Solutions. He previously held management positions at several IT companies, including Materna Information & Communications, BMC Software and SolveDirect. He will concentrate on the areas of Consulting and Software Solutions (Business Solutions) as part of the management team.
Robert Latka (45) has been Director of Finance and Administration at S&T Austria since 2008. Preceding this role, he held business administration positions at management level at various IT service providers, most recently serving for over ten years at T-Systems Austria and T-Systems International, respectively. His focus at S&T will remain on Accounting, Controlling, internal IT Systems and Legal.
Damianos Soumelidis leaves S&T at his own wish to pursue his career as an independent entrepreneur. Thomas Streimelweger comments: "I regret the departure of Damianos Soumelidis, who has significantly contributed to the positive development of the services business of S&T in the past years".
