Dr Ingrid Hengster takes up her post as Member of the KfW Group's Executive Board on 1 April 2014

Tomorrow, 1 April 2014, Dr Ingrid Hengster will take up her post as Member of the KfW Group's Executive Board, where she will be responsible for domestic promotional business. Dr Hengster was appointed a Member of the Executive Board on 4 July 2013 by resolution of the Board of Supervisory Directors.

Prior to starting with the KfW Group, Dr Hengster was Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Bank of Scotland's Germany division, a position she had held since 2008. Dr Hengster holds a doctorate in law, and has many years of professional experience in the financial hub of Frankfurt.

Dr Axel Nawrath, Member of the KfW Group's Executive Board, is leaving KfW today. Dr Nawrath was a Member of the KfW Group's Executive Board from 1 April 2009. He is moving to L-Bank, the State Bank for Baden-Württemberg, where he will be Chairman of the Executive Board.

The KfW Executive Board would like to thank Dr Nawrath for his outstanding leadership of the promotional business and wish Dr Hengster all the best and every success in her new role.
