JoWooD announces first License Agreement for 2005/2006 line-up

JoWooD has closed its first Agreement for the upcoming line up with
Game Factory Interactive Ltd.

The Agreement, based on a license and royalty model, includes the
major titles for next year’s portfolio with a minimum guarantee of
USD 1,000,000,00 for Russia’s former USSR territories. JoWooD will
face no further expense as Game Factory Interactive Ltd. will be
responsible for manufacturing, marketing and any other product
related costs.  This Agreement represents JoWooD’s favourable
business model for the future.

Game Factory Interactive Ltd. has been a well known partner of
JoWooD, but until now both companies have not been able to enter an
Agreement of this magnitude.

distribution partner Russobit-M.  This year’s line up is by far the
strongest JoWooD has ever had.  The success of the ‘Giant’ series, as
well as SpellForce and Gothic promises great potential for titles
like Hotel Giant 2, SpellForce 2 and especially Gothic 3" said
Viacheslav Plotnikov of Game Factory Interactive Ltd.

This license-based transaction preludes further agreements of the
up-coming 2005/2006 line-up.  With this action JoWooD underlines it’s
ambition of a 7 step action-plan regarding the  expansion into new
markets along with the migration to a ‘license deal’ business model.

Moreover, and aside from new agreements, JoWooD will concentrate on
core-issues and the conversion of deficits within the company,
including the analysis and the increase of efficiency of internal
organizational processes and controlling.
