JoWooD announces a Strategic alliance with Perception, an
Australian games developer, with Perception investing in the company.

Rottenmann, Austria, 11th September 2003 - JoWooD Productions, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, concluded a Heads of Agreement, which outlines a strategic investment by Perception into JoWooD. Part of the deal includes the publishing rights to a top rated franchise from one of the worlds best known film companies. Perception, as licensee of those rights, will appoint JoWooD as worldwide publisher as part of the agreement. License and development costs will be borne by Perception. JoWooD will be appointed to handle worldwide publishing and marketing of the product. JoWooD will commission Per-ception to perform several development projects over the next 2 years. Currently the li-censed title is planned to ship in 2005 on various platforms, such as X-Box, PS2 as well as PC. The two parties will also work on a number of other licensed and original content titles together over the period. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
Both parties plan to conclude the deal immediately after securing JoWooD shareholder approval.
