Freiburg, 12 May 2009 - The supervisory board of Solar-Fabrik AG has 
decided to appoint Martin Friedrich and Martin Schlenk to the board 
with retrospective effect from 1 May 2009. The decision was announced
by chairman of the supervisory board Alfred T. Ritter and CEO of 
Solar-Fabrik AG Günter Weinberger. The employment contracts were 
signed today.
Retrospectively on 1 May 2009, Martin Friedrich was appointed to the 
board of directors of Solar-Fabrik as CFO. Mr Friedrich, 39, studied 
business administration and then qualified as an auditor and tax 
advisor. He began his professional career at a well-known auditing 
company before becoming the head of finance and accounting at 
Solar-Fabrik. As CFO, he will now be responsible for finance and 
accounting, as well as for controlling.
Also retrospectively on 1 May 2009, Martin Schlenk was appointed to 
the board of directors of Solar-Fabrik as COO. He has occupied 
executive positions at Solar-Fabrik since the company's IPO in 2002. 
In his new role as COO, he will be responsible for the production, 
logistics and purchasing departments. Mr Schlenk, 36, studied 
economics and also began his career with a well-known auditing 
company. He is the ideal complement to Solar-Fabrik executive board 
and brings many years of experience in the industry to the position.
In the shape of Martin Friedrich and Martin Schlenk, the supervisory 
board and the board of directors have appointed two proven experts in
their fields. Both have made significant contributions to the 
successful development of Solar- Fabrik and are united with all other
members of the board in their aim of achieving a strategic 
reorientation of the group.
