AvW Invest AG, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, has achievd record results for the past financial year 2005.The pre-tax earnings grew by 94 percent to 5.814 million Euro (2004: 2.2992 million Euro), annual net profit by 118 percent to 4.462 million Euro (2004: 2.051 million Euro) and the unappropriated surplus increased by 91 percent to 7.305 million Euro (2004: 3.823 million Euro). The balance sum of AvW Invest AG increased by 18 percent to 32.008 million Euro (2004: 27.048 million Euro) within one year. Profit per share demonstrated growth of 118 percent to 1.48 Euro (2004: 0.68 Euro). These record results are the product of excellent performance with equity holdings and financial services. The controlled growth of both fields will continue on into 2006 as well, states AvW Chairman of the Board Wolfgang Auer von Welsbach. An further increase in annual net profit is expected for fiscal year 2006. A solid prognosis will be communicated after the first quarter.
