Dr. Detlev Lux takes over the position of CEO
The founder and, until recently, CEO of Softline AG (WKN 720 600), Peer Blumenschein, is moving at his own request to the supervisory board of the software distributor. With immediate effect, the new CEO is Dr. Detlev Lux (44), previously spokesman of the managing board of Ravensburger AG.
With Dr. Lux, Softline AG gains an experienced manager, who has held leading positions in various corporations including Boston Consulting Group, Bertelsmann AG and Time Life Inc., successfully mastering difficult corporate circumstances, as shown by the restructuring and subsequent turnaround of Ravensburger AG.
Peer Blumenschein will continue to be actively engaged in the company as a member of the supervisory board and consultant. His focus in the future will again be concentrated on the vital area of identifying trends and developments in the software and hardware markets.
