Pursuant to the earlier decision ratified at the General Meeting on
29.03.2004 for the distribution of stock dividends amounting to TL
300,000 billion, Akbank finalized the legal procedure regarding its
25% paid-in capital increase from TL 1,200,000 billion to TL
1,500,000 billion. Bonus shares will be distributed from
Akbank's 2003 profit, starting from 07.06.2004.
