VIVACON AG ends purchase process of 1,577 apartments
Cologne, December 29th 2005. VIVACON AG (ISIN 000604 8911) let it be known in its ad-hoc announcement of 29 September 2005 (published through Reuters, VWD, DPA-AFX and Bloomberg) that it acquired approx. 1,900 residential units in Northern Germany via its subsidiary NORDDEUTSCHLAND Grundbesitz GmbH & Co. KG.
After 1,577 apartments with a residential and usable area amounting to around 100,660 sqm were subsequently declared a redevelopment area, the company initially made use of its right of withdrawal in relation to these 1,577 residential units. At the same time new negotiations were opened up, taking into account the new circumstances, with the aim of concluding them by the end of the year.
The negotiations were finally concluded today, with the result that the company has in the end not acquired the 1,577 units.
