- Supervisory Board announces change in Management Board - Appointment of new CEO is planned
Berlin, 20 September 2005 - Mr Karl Joachim Veigel, CEO of Beta Systems Software AG (BSS, ISIN DE0005224406) and the Company today agreed by mutual consent that Mr Veigel will leave the Company by September 21, 2005. The Supervisory Board thanks Mr. Veigel for his high commitment and successful cooperation during the last five fiscal years.
As a part of his responsibility as Deputy CEO Mr Dietmar Breyer will take over the position as Chairman of the Management Board for a transitional period. The Supervisory Board further appointed Mr Kilian Krieger as General Representative responsible for finance, controlling and personnel. The restructuring, cost reduction and integration measures already started in the course of the year 2005 as part of the "Growth and Profit 2005" program will be consequently carried forward and implemented by the end of the year.
