Cambridge, England (ots/PRNewswire)

- Businesses and Individual Consumers to Benefit From
High-Performance Push-Email on Wide Variety of Mobile Phones at
Affordable Prices
Today, SEVEN announced commercial partnerships with five leading
2.5G and 3G mobile operators who have chosen its software to provide
push-based mobile email to their enterprise and consumer customers.
SEVEN-powered services are available in Australia through Hutchison
Telecom's 3 network, in Malaysia through DiGi and in Spain through
Amena. For the first time, device-agnostic, push-based mobile email
is available in France through Bouygues Telecom and in Mexico through
Grupo Iusacell. These five operators are innovators in their markets,
characterised by fast subscriber and data growth rates and leading
2.5G and 3G networks.
"Businesses and individuals worldwide continue to demand the
ability to check email on the go. A variety of new email capable
mobile phones are coming to market at a rapid pace and SEVEN enables
people to use either integrated voice/data devices or lower cost
voice-centric devices such as data-capable cellular phones for mobile
email. SEVEN and its operator customers have the potential to meet
the global market demand for mobile email." said Eugene Signorini,
Director of Yankee Group's Wireless/Mobile Enterprise Solutions
advisory practice.
SEVEN-powered mobile email services are currently available
through 47 mobile operators across 30 countries and on more 3G
networks than any other mobile email vendor. SEVEN makes it easy for
companies and consumers to access email on the mobile device that
best suits them - with over 100 smartphone and affordable everyday
mobile phones to choose from. Today, businesses and organisations of
all sizes, from individuals, workgroups of 5 -25 people, and large
enterprises such as Accenture, Boeing, Danone, Ford, HP, KPMG,
L'Oreal, Lucent Technologies, McDonald's, Mitsubishi Motors,
Schering, Toshiba, Toyota, UPS, and XEROX use SEVEN-powered mobile
email.

customers is available for immediate purchase from DiGi
(http://www.digi.com.my/enhanced/office/smartmail/index.jsp).
"We are excited to offer a push-email service for a variety of
mobile devices. Instead of limiting mobile e-mail to only one system
or device, SmartMail is a service relevant to our entire subscriber
base. SEVEN's technology supports all major Asian and European
languages making it an ideal solution for Malaysia where, alongside
Malay, the official language, English, Chinese and Tamil are also
widely spoken. With SmartMail, no matter who you are or where you may
be, you can have immediate access to your e-mail. We see SEVEN as the
ideal partner to bring the mobile email experience to the mass-market
in Malaysia." said DiGi's General Manager of Product Marketing, Peter
Tay.
Americas Expansion: Grupo Iusacell, Mexico
Iusacell, is one of Mexico's fastest growing mobile operators and
the first operator in Mexico to have a full-coverage 3G network.
Iusacell is focused on offering innovative services to the corporate
market. SEVEN-powered, Moviloffice, available later this month will
be the first device agnostic, push-based mobile email service
available to business customers in Mexico
(http://www.iusacell.com.mx).
"Mobile email is the application our customers ask for most and we
are bringing a great new service to market to meet their needs. We
expect Moviloffice to be very popular-it is easy, affordable and
people find it liberating to be more in touch and productive. We
chose SEVEN for their comprehensive product that includes support for
multiple email and device platforms and runs across Iusacell's 3G
network today." said Gustavo Guzmán, CEO, Iusacell.
European Expansion: Bouygues Telecom, France
Bouygues Telecom, covering 98% of France, will be the first mobile
operator in France to offer businesses access to device-independent,
push email. The SEVEN-powered mobile office service, Messagerie
Mobile Universelle is now available from Bouygues
(http://www.entreprises.bouyguestelecom.fr).
"The demand for push email is reaching mass market proportions in
France and we were keen to find a solution partner capable of helping
us go to market quickly and one that would grow with us as the demand
for robust and feature-rich mobile email gains momentum. SEVEN was
the best choice for that. From the end customers' perspective, this
is an excellent solution as it provides a true push email experience
with flexible billing options and complete device independence. In
partnership with SEVEN, we have the capability to give the customer a
flexible, easy-to-use and affordable solution on our leading
portfolio of devices," said Jean René Cazeneuve, Director of the
Enterprise Sector at Bouygues Telecom.
European Expansion: Amena, Spain
Spain's fastest growing mobile operator, Amena, the mobile
communications company of the Auna Group in Spain, is offering
SEVEN's popular Always-On Mail, mobile email, to Amena's enterprise
customers. The service was launched on May 6th, 2005 (www.amena.es).
"By teaming with mobile operators and handset manufacturers to
make email a simple add-on to existing mobile data plans, SEVEN
reduces mobile email's total cost of ownership and makes initial set
up and deployment easy. We support all handset platforms and a broad
range of email programs and work with the leading operators to bring
mobile email to the mass-market." said Kent Thexton, CEO of SEVEN.
